You can make lists containing works by different artists clearer if you group the works by artist: In a clear layout, the list can contain artist information as well as all the details about the individual works. This helps you, for example, in the stressful everyday of an art fair, to make your portfolios comprehensible. Just download the template linked below.
Issue artists and related works
Especially if you want to export a large number of works by different artists in one document, such a list can quickly become confusing. With special placeholders, you can also organise your list as an alphabetical list of artists that are included: So you can use information such as place of birth, lifespan or even the biography only once per artist and immediately thereafter issue the list of related works.
Order of output in the list
The entire list is initially sorted alphabetically by artist; their works then appear as usual in the current order, as they appear in the given list of works. You can adjust this sorting in Artbutler as required, for example, according to inventory number or title, or also as manual sorting, which, for example, reflects the order of works in an exhibition. All information on the individual works can be exported, such as title, technique, price etc.
