This text export template exports the fields contact-ID, email 1, names, company and the city of the postal address (for a better understanding of the contact) as well as the categories of the contacts. Use the export file for a CSV import into a list of the newsletter service of your choice. You have to either assign or confirm the function of the the columns only once. The following newsletter providers are available:
Transfer information from the newsletter-provider into ARTBUTLER
If you already have received the consent of the recipients to use their data, you can easily update your distribution lists in ARTBUTLER PRO.
Therefore the lists, that are in the newsletter service, need to initially have been imported with the column contact-ID, that is provided by the attached template. Furthermore you’ll need to export your distribution lists, as described for example in RapidMail‘s or MailChimp‘s support area.
After this you can enter the contact-ID’s into a contact group in ARTBUTLER PRO. Simply copy the entire column in the exported document and insert it into the contact group using the barcode function. Now the contacts can be changed collectively.

You might use the categories to create sub-goups from your list – in MailChimp called segments – with the definition of conditions, e.g.: Categories contain “Newsletter EN”.
